1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Jay Lee ("we"), an individual based in the United States, about your use of the StadiumSpark app. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Who may use the app

You must be at least 18 years old to use StadiumSpark, or 13 to 17 with the permission of a parent or guardian, who then accepts these terms on your behalf. The app is meant for the adult who runs music for a youth or recreational sports team. It is not for children.

3. Beta software

StadiumSpark is beta software during the 2026 fall season. It may have bugs, may change without notice, and may lose data. Keep your own copies of your songs and export a team pack after you set up a team. We may end the beta, remove features or stop distributing the app at any time.

4. Your music and other content

You choose every song, clip, recording, photo and name that goes into the app. You are solely responsible for that content.

• Rights. You confirm that you own or hold the rights needed to store, trim and play each song or recording you import, including any right needed to play it out loud at a game. StadiumSpark makes no representation that your use of any song is authorized, licensed or exempt from licensing.
• Public performance. Playing music out loud at a game is a public performance under copyright law. Whether a license is needed, and who must hold it, depends on your league, your venue and how the game is run. That is your responsibility and your league's or venue's, not ours. Many free-admission nonprofit youth games may fall under an exemption in United States copyright law for nonprofit performances without commercial advantage (17 U.S.C. 110(4)). This is general information, not legal advice. It does not cover leagues that charge admission for the benefit of anyone other than a charitable or educational purpose, or that pay anyone to perform. Ask your league.
• No streaming sources. The app plays files that are on your phone. It does not connect to Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube or any streaming service, and you may not use it to get around copy protection on any file. Do not import protected files.
• No rebroadcast. Do not use the app to stream, broadcast or transmit music beyond the place where the game is played.
• Other people. Get permission before you add another person's voice, photo or name, and before you share a team pack that contains them. If a parent of a player on your team asks you to remove their child's information, do so promptly.

5. League and venue rules

Your league, school or venue may have rules on amplified sound, walk-up music, song length or lyrics. Following those rules is your responsibility. StadiumSpark does not screen lyrics or content. It plays what you give it.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jay Lee and our employees and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from the content you put into the app, from your playing of music or other audio through the app, or from your breach of these terms. This includes any claim by a copyright owner, a performing rights organization, a league, a venue or any other person.

7. Announcements, text-to-speech and recordings

Spoken announcements use the voices built into your phone. A synthesized voice may mispronounce a name, especially a name that is not common in English. Preview announcements before a game and use the pronunciation field to correct them. We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of any synthesized speech. Recordings you make are your content under section 4.

8. Card scanning

The card scan uses text recognition to read names and numbers from a photo of the coach's card. It can misread handwriting, drop a row, invent a row or match the wrong player. The app shows you every row for correction before the batting order is saved. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the batting order before relying on it in a game.

9. Bundled music and sounds

The current version includes no bundled music or sound effects. When a bundled library ships, this section will state the license terms under which those files are provided and any attribution requirements.

10. Team packs

A team pack is a file you export and share yourself. We do not transmit, store or see it. You are responsible for whom you send it to and for the content in it, including any photos of minors you chose to include.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what the app stores and what, if anything, leaves your phone. It is part of these terms.

12. License and restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for non-commercial use with youth and recreational sports teams. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except as the law allows or as the app store's terms permit.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be free of errors, that music will play at a particular moment, that a Bluetooth speaker will work with it, or that it will meet your league's requirements.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or 10 US dollars if you paid nothing.

15. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access to the app if you break these terms. Sections 4, 6, 13, 14 and 16 survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material we will show it in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
